Good Friday morning,
Here in California, our weather remains fairly uneventful — typical January conditions with cool nights and daytime temperatures in the 60s. Overnight lows will settle into the upper 40s along the Santa Barbara coast and the upper 30s in the valleys, with daytime highs hovering around 65 degrees across the region.
Some coastal fog, but for the most part sunny and average for this time of year.

Now, if you’re hopping on a plane and heading east, buckle up — the weather story changes fast. And unfortunately… I’ve got some bad news.
It’s shaping up to be a brutal weekend of cold, snow, ice, and likely flight disruptions. From the Midwest to the East Coast — and even into Texas — travel conditions could be extremely difficult as the coldest system of the season moves in.
We’ll sit back and watch from the sidelines as it unfolds. And honestly, it’s just one more reason I love living in California.
Have a great weekend, off to Action….
Jack Martin
