5/26/16 Not Much Excitement on the Weather Front

Good Thursday morning,

Whoop there goes another week and month. I must be getting old, because they seem to just fly by.  I remember when I was a kid in my parents station wagon (yes wood paneling and all) we traveled one hour to my grandparents’ house, it seemed to take forever. An hour is a blink now

5/19/16 Good Thursday Morning

Well, it’s looking quite wet along the coast today. Everything is wet at my house today.

This trend will continue. There is a low pressure system diving down the coast. Look for evening and morning low clouds, with drizzle each morning. They are even talking about some areas to record measurable drizzle and light rain.

Next week the typical weather continues for this time of year.  A series of weak low pressure systems will bring damp mornings with chance of drizzle through mid-week.

May gray in the mornings and sunshine later in the day.

5/12/16 Rest of Week and Weekend Weather

Good Thursday morning,

Yes, another week flying by…. May the 12th.

Weather is typical for this time of year. You can call it May- gray or June -Gloom along the coast.Inland as always this time of year, it is warming up.

Today will be the warmest day of the week everywhere.High pressure is right overhead with little in Marine layer.

Friday and into the weekend a low approaches, creating cooling weather and marine layer along the coastal areas. Inland will be warmer, but not hot.

Temps along the coast will remain in the low 70s with coastal fog through mid-day. Valleys and inland will be warmer with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.Clearing will come much earlier in the day in valleys.

Bottom line, if you want sun and warmer weather… Drive over the pass. If you want A/C like temps, just hang out near the ocean with me.

I love the Fog…

Enjoy… No weather issues this weekend will prevent you from being outdoors

5/10/16 Tuesday Weather Update

No real changes from yesterday or the week.

Fog and marine layer will influence our weather through Wednesday.

Clearing today will be slow, with some coastal areas not clearing until the later afternoon.

Fog remains though Wednesday.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with little in the way of fog.

Friday into the weekend will begin to cool.

Sunday back to typical may gray as marine layer builds back in place.

       Love the Fog

5/9/16 Quiet Week On The Weather Front

Good Monday morning,

Yes, I am back from Cabo San Lucas.

This week will be rather seasonal.

Tonight fog rolls in, with afternoon clearing, same for Wednesday.

Thursday ridge builds in and we warm up and have less in fog.

Friday into the weekend some cooling, but very seasonable.

No rain and no real excitement on the weather front for the week

Have a good week!
