Good Thursday  morning,

Great sunset last night. As for the weather, just great California weather along the coast.

Coastal is easy, fog then sunshine with highs around 80, slightly cooler this weekend. Then, high pressure builds in Monday and warms up a few degrees.

Just a few miles towards the foothills, temps will be around 85.

Over the pass, it is another 5 degrees warmer with highs around 90.

No real big changes in the next week, just great California weather.

Heading to Palm springs or Vegas? 100 degrees with 30% to 50% chance of thunderstorms.

Seattle area highs in the mid to upper 80s for the weekend, then cooling to the mid-70s next week.

Then there is the world:

Have a great weekend no mater where you will be.

Yes, I know it is only Thursday, just thinking ahead 😊

Good Tuesday morning,

Monday was a fun change. The shower and tropical weather was a fun change.

Santa Barbara scored a huge .002 of an inch.

Today we are out of the monsoonal flow and things return to typical weather pattern for this time of year.

The fog is at 2,000 feet, which will make for a cloudy start to the day. Fog will lift a little later in the day. Highs in SB around 80 and 90 in the valleys.

https://zoom.earth/#view=36.5,-124.9,5z/date=2021-07-27,06:20,-7

This is pretty much the pattern through Friday. Then it looks like the monsoonal moisture can build back into our woods. Bringing at least a chance for rain to LA mountains. LA area scored the highest rain totals with 0 to .38 if an inch yesterday.

Enjoy the day!

Good Monday morning,

Where darkness is just ending, it will be an interesting day for weather, especially in the LA – Ventura areas. Last night Las Vegas had a large thunderstorm move though and is now working its way towards the Pacific coast. San Bernardino had .68 of rain in 30 minutes.

You can see the action on the zoom earth:
https://zoom.earth/#view=32.95,-122.49,6.27z/date=2021-07-26,05:30,-7

For us, we are generally too far north for this first thunderstorm. It will affect areas Santa Monica and south.

Rain chances for us is going to hover at 20 to 30% , but mainly later in the afternoon and overnight.

It will be a humid day with an east coast feel.

High will be in the upper 70s coastal after the fog burns off and 10 degrees warmer in the valleys. We will be watching how the heating of the day, affects the chances for thunderstorms to develop.

It looks like the best chance for Santa Barbara and SLO county’s to see a thunder storm will be later in the afternoon into Tuesday noon in SLO.

Keep your eyes over the hills, that’s where those big puffy clouds will start and build.

As for the rest of the week, it will be warmer with around 5 degrees above normal.

High pressure will keep the valleys warm and fog will hang around along the coast in the morning. Temps in the valleys around 90 and coastal upper 70s.

The monsoonal flow will end Tuesday but might be back towards the end of the week.

Enjoy your day, and keep an eye on the sky over the mountains.

😄💨⛈⛈⚡️

Here is the LA area right now.

Good Friday morning,

It will be the last day of warmer weather before temps drop off for the weekend.

Santa Barbara will see more fog with only a 5 degree drop for the weekend.

The valleys will feel it more with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s this weekend.

On top of that, the monsoonal flow is over Arizona right now.

This will work its way toward us on Sunday:

https://zoom.earth/#view=30.4,-99.5,4z/date=2021-07-23,06:50,-7

It looks like only LA would be affected Sunday but starting Monday there will be a 20% chance of rain all the way to the Santa Barbara coast.

The best chance will be later Monday afternoon, due to convection and heating.

We will need to watch the movement of the monsoonal flow over the weekend.

Tuesday, looks to warm up quite a bit, especially in the valleys as high pressure builds in over the 4 corners. This will bring back the hotter weather.

Stay tuned, more Action updates to come 😃.

Good Thursday morning,

The month of July is flying by, and summer weather is in full swing.

The weather trends have remained the same all week, but we will start to see some slight cooling over the weekend.

Highs today and Friday will be 80 in Santa Barbara and 90in the valley.

As we progress into the weekend, we will see temps drop off each day with Monday being the coolest for the next 7 days.

Highs will be around 75 coastal and 80 in the valleys. The cool down will not last long.

A strong high-pressure system in the 4 corners sets up for Tuesday and Wednesday.

We will see temp trend upward into mid-week. All in all, I consider this perfect weather.

I had to share this Picture from Mark in Dexter NY. (Near the Canada border, and Rochester NY.)

Just a fantastic lake view, Hi Mark hope life is great in retirement.

Enjoy!

Good Tuesday morning,

The heat wave inland is over and temps will begin to drop off to 70s along the coast with fog.

Valleys mid 80s, and deserts a mild 108.

Trends the rest of the work week remain the same. Perfect working weather.

The next warm up begins over the weekend.

If you have not seen the virgin trip to space, this is fun to watch.

Good Thursday morning,

High pressure is building in and increasing the temps in all areas.

Coastal areas will be pleasant with low 80s for the next 5 days.

https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-119.6930236984044&lat=34.429340593770405

Moving over the mountain, it will be a plus 15 with upper 90s in Santa Ynez.

Further to the East, just not where you want to be, 105 to 115.

The Beaches will be busy this weekend with the water temps approaching a nice 66 degrees.

Cooling next week as onshore flow will help the valleys. Santa Barbara will be 75 with some fog.

Enjoy!

Happy July,

We have made it to a new month. Summer is in full swing, and so was the Santa Barbara air conditioner.

Better known as the Pacific Ocean. Yesterday it was working hard, creating cooler air with drizzle in Santa Barbara.

We love that because our high was a nice 71. Today the fog remains and clearing will come in the afternoon.

In the valleys, it will be cooler with highs in the mid 80s.

Sunshine will become more dominate along the coast starting Saturday, with high pressure building in again.

Temps along the coast will remain in the mid 70s for the next week, with less fog, making the fireworks show a success.

Valleys stay in the mid to upper 80s. Nice pool weather for the holiday.

I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and a happy 4th of July. Action Roofing and Energy will be closed Monday the 5th for the 4th of July holiday.

I always like looking at the weather around the world.

Enjoy.
