Lots of Action out there, just not on the weather front in Santa Barbara.
Today is the last day of July and we welcome August on Thursday.
Fiesta starts tonight, lots of food at the 2 spots and the open ceremony at the Mission.
Weather wise, we will have perfect weather. No fog for us today, but areas to the south has fog levels at 1000 feet.
Temps today will be in the low 80s and warm sunny summer weather continues through the week and into next week.
The weekend will warm up more with high pressure building in the 4 corners highs coastal will be in the mid 80s and valleys approaching the century mark.
Fiesta parade Friday will be quite warm for all, great weather to watch the event, or get away. What ever your preference is.
Looking to the west, Hawaii is going to have big waves as a few hurricanes pass just to the south of the big island

Ok that’s the excitement for the week, Viva La Fiesta!
Enjoy!

Good Monday morning,
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Now it is back to work, fiesta week, and the last few days of July.
How does the summer march by so fast?? The good news is summer lasts through October in California.
This week is going to be perfect working weather with highs in the upper 60s and 70s along the coast.
Inland however it is still quite warm, but in the upper 80s instead of 90s.
Wednesday the Fiesta activities begin, with the parade Friday at noon.
Temps will begin to rise as the weekend comes closer. High pressure builds into the 4 corners. This will bring back the monsoonal flow.
Looking to the south, there is lots of action in Arizona and in the coastal waters.
Lots of red blobs popping up.
2 tropical depressions moving west towards Hawaii. Nothing that will bother us.

Hope everyone enjoys the cooler week
The heat will be back next weekend
7/24/19 Wednesday Heat
Good Wednesday morning,
Summer weather will continue through the week.
Tuesday was quite warm with some areas in SB in the upper 80s, valleys were also quite warm with 90s.
This trend will continue today and it will be warmer than Tuesday.
Today will be the last day of the monsoonal flow and pretty mid-level clouds that make great sunsets and sunrises.
The picture attached came from my friend Adam. Nice shot.
High pressure remains in place, the marine layer is at 800 feet and will burn off along the coast this morning, then turn to sunshine.
Valleys and deserts will be quite warm, with temps 5 to 10 degrees above normal.
This means lots of valley areas will hit the triple digits. Coastal 80s will be common, and some 90s in the foothills.
All in all just great summer weather.
Enjoy it!

7/22/19 Weather
Good Monday morning,
I hope everyone had a nice weekend.
For the start of the new work week, we will begin a warm up.
Inland areas will be in the 90s where coastal areas will stay in the upper 70s.
Some clouds are drifting up from monsoonal moisture, which will do nothing more then provide nice sunrises and sunsets.
Attached is last night at my house
The marine layer is currently at 1000 feet, so this will allow quicker clearing in the morning.
All in all another great week of summer weather in Southern California https://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/nepac/h5-loop-wv.html
Enjoy
Have a great week
7/19/2019 Weekend Weather
Another weekend is upon us. Great weather accompanies it. Of course my definition of great weather is temps in the mid to upper 70s.
Thank god we pay high taxes to live in this area. If you look around the country, they are having a heat wave and are melting from the high temps. We on the west coast are loving 70s and 80s through the weekend.

Next week is looking to warm up some, especially inland. Temps will rise into the 90s in the valleys by Wednesday. Coastal hovering in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Not a lot of excitement with the weather, but it is nice to know we live in the best place on earth 👍

Next week the first monsoonal flow will begin to creep into the area. Arizona will start to see those thunder showers affect the weather. This is the time of year where connection in Phoenix are unpredictable. There are also a few tropical storms brewing in the southern pacific, but they are harmlessly spinning out in the sea, affecting only ship traffic.

Good Thursday morning,
July and the Summer seems to be marching too quickly.
Our weather pattern has really began to shift to dry and warmer.
Coastal areas are still having fog in the mornings, this will not change through the weekend.
Valleys and foothills are much warmer with summer like conditions and 90s.
Today the fog is at 2000 feet and clearing will occur late this morning along the coast.
Temps will remain in the upper 70s coastal and 90s inland. This trend goes through Sunday.
It is just perfect weather in my eyes.
Monday we see a warm up everywhere. High pressure and off shore flow builds in, as a dome of high pressure builds over the 4 corners.
This will heat up everyone through Wednesday.
Enjoy the weather and summer events outdoors.
This weekend is the wine festival at the beach. It should be a great excuse to get to the beach.

Enjoy..
7/12/19 Hot Weather This Weekend
Good Friday morning,
Hot Summer weather has arrived this weekend. It is going to be hot in the valleys and foothills, 90s and 100s.
Coastal still quite warm at highs in the 80s …
I think it will be beach weather …. https://www.weather.gov/lox/
High pressure in the 4 corners is what is fueling the warm up. Cooling will arrive next week for a few days at least.
Not much fog in our future. The next 3 months will bring the summer heat.
Enjoy.
7/11/19 Summer Will Heat Us Up
Good morning,
Did you miss me? Sorry for the 10 days off. I was on vacation then had to move into my new house.
Anyway, Jack is back!!!
For the weather, a summer heat wave is going to be here through the weekend. This spells the story:
You better check your AC, because you will need it this weekend. If you need help call Tony at Beyond Heating and Air.
805-966-4321 office or 805-331-0981 cell.
Our natural air conditioner will keep the coastal areas reasonable, but inland valleys will be down right hot. Temps will climb to triple digits.
Tonight expect sundowner winds, the skies will heat up in Santa Barbara at sundown today. Winds should stay towards north Goleta and Gaviota.
If your driving through there on your commute home, you will know what I am talking about.
Friday through the weekend, sunny and hot.
Coastal areas in the 80s.
Valleys around 100.
Palm springs hot as heck ….
The beaches will be very busy this weekend. This might be a good beach weekend.
Hope everyone enjoys the heat….May and June were cool, wet and foggy. Now we are going the other direction.
Have a great day.
