7/30/18 Last Few Days of July
Good Monday morning,
Here we go… are you ready to start a new month? Ready or not, here we go….
For our weather, it will still remain warm, but at least it will stay in the 80s this week along the coast. The valleys will remain warm, with 90s and close to 100.
Here is the satellite loop. As you can see, subtropical moisture is being pulled up out of Mexico. This should stay south of us, mainly over the deserts and mountains of LA.

How they fly by….
Enjoy, Viva La Fiesta!
7/24/18 Tuesday Weather
Good Tuesday morning,
Are we ready for more heat? Today will be a few degrees warmer than yesterday. We should approach the 100 degree mark along the coast. Inland you will be there.
Wednesday will be the hottest day. Temps in the warmest areas will be 110 to 112 degrees. Coastal will hover around 100. Sundowner winds are possible each night. This will only heat the skies more in SB and Goleta.
Thursday will be hot, but temps might start to retreat a little.
Friday into the weekend will cool slightly. Now don’t get me wrong, It is still going to be hot. With temps well above normal. We might get a break, with 90s as highs. Lows at night will remain in the 70s in some locations. Coastal the best break is the mid 60s.to upper 60s
Well that’s it, hot hot weather all week.
Stay cool , and drink lots of fluids ( WATER)

7/23/18 Ready For The Heat!!
Good Monday morning,
It is warm, but pleasant outside right now. Around 60 to 65 degrees.
You should be up early with me, because this is going to be the only coolness for awhile.
Take a look at what is coming for Santa Barbara

The heat will rise today. It will be hot everywhere, but the real highs of the days will be at sunset in Santa Barbara, this will be due to sundowner winds. It does look like these will be calmer, then a few weeks ago. When we had the fire in the Fairview area.
High fire danger does still exist all week, but sundowner winds look to be 10 to 15 miles an hour, with gusts 20 miles an hour. This will keep the overnight temps much higher than this morning
These conditions should be upon us each of the next 3 nights.
As far as the heat wave goes, It will be hot all week. Breaking the century make at least the next 3 days.
Thursday onshore flow returns, but do not expect much of a break in the heat. Temps will be above normal through the entire weekend.
Looks like Sunday we will see the return of monsoonal flow. So, don’t be surprised to find the possibility of thunder storms Sunday.
Yes, it is summer and it is in full force… Stay cool … AC is one of those items that everyone needs this week …
Have a nice day. Bring lots of water if you are working outdoors.
The only cool areas will be right on the beaches. These will be in the 80s.
